League of Innovators (LOI), a charity youth accelerator founded in Vancouver, Canada is excited to launch the National Youth Skills for Success Academy (Success Academy), which is partially funded by the Government of Canada’s Skills for Success program and in partnership with RBC Future Launch. The program aligns with ESDC’s Skills for Success objective to “provide Canadians with everyday skills needed for work, learning and life.”

The Success Academy program will support youth ages 18-29 to return to the workforce after the pandemic and is particularly geared towards including and reducing barriers for youth from underrepresented populations: Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), women and people with disabilities. Innovators will help them enter the workforce, succeed at work, as well as create and lead their own businesses.

Key Features of the National Youth Skills for Success Academy (Success Academy)

  • Self-paced asynchronous skills development courses for entrepreneurship and career development
  • Course materials can be provided to any organization or institution at no cost
  • Provides youth with in-demand skills, tools and resources to get start their own businesses and/or achieve career success
