Welcome to League of Innovators!

The League of Innovators is a national Canadian charity that empowers young people to be their own bosses in life and career, supporting their growth as entrepreneurs, innovators, and changemakers. We offer accessible blended model educational and acceleration programs focused on entrepreneurial skill-building, tools, and networks to support youth as they embark on the entrepreneurial path.

Over the past few months, the team at the League of Innovators has reviewed curriculum and have implemented an Indigenous lens to their existing programs.The Indigenous lens is developing the Indigneous Hub for The League of Innovators to ensure that we are creating and providing culturally appropriate programs and spaces that are welcoming and safe learning environments for all youth including those who self Identify as Indigenous creators.

The Indigenous Hub will provide additional support to Self-Identified Indigenous Youth Entrepreneurs who are enrolled in League of Innovators Programming. The types of support offered will include but are not limited to culturally appropriate support in networking, advisory, academia and specific Indigenous entrepreneurship training and development. It is expected to be active Spring 2022.

Our Vision

The League of Innovators aims to provide support to Indigenous youth entrepreneurs to encourage and support cultural and spiritual empowerment so they can grow as leaders in their communities and ventures.

Our Mission

The Indigenous Youth Entrepreneur Hub provides support, services and opportunities to both Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth entrepreneurs to encourage a sense of belonging, affirmation in their identity, and a chance to gain meaningful experiences in their LOI journey. The League of Innovators creates connections and opportunities for entrepreneurs, staff and educators to acknowledge Indigenous cultures, knowledge and lived experiences during entrepreneurship and ventures.

Our Values

The League of Innovators and the Indigenous youth entrepreneurship hub encourages all participants of LOI and programs to follow the guidelines of the DEI playbook with additional educational Indigenous DEI for cultural appropriation. They provide guidance of engagement for all members of LOI as well as the larger community.
